You are lucky :) I have spent years traveling around India and staying in all kinds of places from luxurious hotels and historical palaces to guest houses, hostels, desert camps or hotels on boats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make your task easier here I have prepared a summary of the best hotels in India according to my experience and that of many other travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tipos_de_Hoteles_en_India\"><\/span>Types of Hotels in India<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In India there is a great variety of types of hotels, here are some...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\"><strong>Hotels:<\/strong><\/span> there are of all styles, prices and categories. The services will depend on the category you choose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\"><strong>Heritage\/Historic Hotels:<\/strong><\/span> are those hotels with history, part of the heritage of the area. You can stay in old palaces, Havelis or private mansions that today are exploited as tourist spaces. Unique experiences but not for all budgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\"><strong>Hostels:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span>are cheaper than hotels and offer both shared and single rooms. They are simple but in recent years there has been a proliferation of minimalist hostels with everything you need and with a fresh and welcoming image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\"><strong>Guesthouse:<\/strong><\/span> is the cheapest option and in most cases they are shared rooms, but there are also single rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\">Ashrams:<\/span>&nbsp;<\/strong>popular spiritual spaces for the practice of yoga and meditation. They are usually very spacious and surrounded by nature or gardens. The rooms are very simple since it is not a hotel but a place where pilgrims and practitioners of yoga and meditation pass through in search of personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\">Camps in the Desert:<\/span> <\/strong>This accommodation is magical, in the middle of the desert and you can sleep in the dunes under the stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #509e2f;\"><strong>House Boats:<\/strong><\/span> In Kerala and in some other places you can stay in a typical boat. It is a joy and are usually boats with one or two rooms but there are also with more capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For hotel reservations, I recommend the \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/index.html?aid=8026088\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Booking.com<\/a>\" o \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoda.com\/partners\/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&amp;cid=1917250&amp;hl=es-es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Agoda<\/a>\" ,  This second one is ideal for cheap hotels. Another accommodation option can be \"AirBnB\" or \"Couchsurfing\", of which I am not an expert so I won't tell you much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-transparent-background-color
