With this article I will try to make your search easier and help you choose the best hotel depending on your travel style, activities you want to do and your budget. Types of Accommodation in Maldives:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Resort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It is a hotel in Maldives located on a private island that has all the services and amenities you need for your vacation. The Resorts usually have Spa, gym, various restaurants and activities of the most diverse to keep you busy (if you wish). They have dream beaches and usually the Resorts in Maldives offer villas with direct access to the beach (beach villa), villas inside the island and surrounded by greenery (garden cottage) and also the famous huts in the sea (water villa).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luxury Resort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The same applies as what I have told you about the resorts in Maldives but with an extra dose of details and LUXURY. Some of these hotels in Maldives are very very extravagant :)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Inclusive Maldives Hotels<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Resorts where you pay a fixed price for your stay, which includes lodging and meals as well as various activities at the resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays there are quite a few local islands focused on tourism but the first and most famous is Maafushi Island, a backpacker's paradise in the Maldives. Besides Maafushi I also recommend Dhangheti and Gulhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotel in Mal\u00e9 (the capital of Maldives) - Hotel in the Maldives Hulhumale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you need to spend a night near the airport because you have an early flight or simply want to spend a night in the capital you can opt for the island of Mal\u00e9 or its close neighbor Hulhumale, newer, less crowded and closer to the airport. Hulhumale is an artificial island that was inaugurated in 2004 to solve the need for more habitable land for residences and businesses... In Mal\u00e9 not even a pin can fit :)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite hotel in Mal\u00e9 is Boutique Hotel Room<\/a>, is a small paradise in the center of the island with a very good Thai restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to choose the best hotel in the Maldives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To choose the perfect hotel in the Maldives you must take into account what you want to do during your vacation in paradise and what is your budget among other things. Depending on the activities and your travel style<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you want luxury and relaxation, diving and beach but without the need for luxury, cultural immersion on a local island, a little bit of everything... and how much you want to spend. As I mentioned before, you can choose between villas with direct access to the beach (beach villa), villas in the interior of the island among palm trees (garden cottage) and cabins in the sea (water villa). Prices tend to vary quite a bit with garden cottages being the cheapest and water villas the most expensive. If you want to stay in a resort and experience both, I recommend combining a few days on the island and 2-3 days in the cabins on the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to the resort is also an important point as it can increase the cost and time of arrival. Depending on the distance from the airport, some hotels in the Maldives can be reached by speedboat (80-250\u20ac), seaplane (300-500\u20ac) or domestic flight (100-150\u20ac).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
